He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa, USA and a Diploma in Electronics from the Aristoteleion ATEI of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has taught Informatics and Computer Science courses at High School, Lyceum and Elementary School levels. He has worked as a lead programmer in research projects funded by the European Union, in the area of Universal Access and Assisted technologies, at the Computer Science research institute ICS-FORTH in Herakleion, Crete. He is the instructor of the 'Introduction to Robotics and Automated Control Systems' course of the CTY Greece Summer Day Program and he is also CTY Greece online program instructor.
