Weekend Programs
Short on time but eager to learn?
Our Weekend Programs offer a condensed and immersive learning experience for students who have passed the CTY Greece entrance exams, from 2nd grade to 11th grade, and want to explore a specific topic.
Weekend Programs rotate across various cities in Greece, as well as in Nicosia, Cyprus.
- A World of Knowledge: Weekend Programs are connected to the themes of our Summer Programs
- Interactive Experiences: Participate in engaging presentations, innovative workshops, and memorable activities designed to spark curiosity and deepen knowledge.
- Targeted Learning: Each program lasts one weekend (10 hours in total: 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday) and focuses on a single topic to maximize learning in a short time.
General Information about the Weekend Programs
During a Weekend Program, students experience a rich and interactive learning environment. Classes move at a fast pace, have high academic expectations, and follow the rules of CTY Greece, which ensure the smooth and safe operation of the program.
Students are expected to demonstrate exemplary conduct, both personally and academically.
Specifically, students must adhere to rules appropriate for an academic setting, including:
- Demonstrating academic and personal integrity.
- Respecting the ideas and property of others.
- Behaving in a friendly, cooperative, responsible, and safe manner.
- Keeping mobile phones turned off throughout the program (during lessons and breaks).
In the event of rule violations, CTY Greece reserves the right to take any necessary measures to maintain a safe and smooth learning environment. Tuition fees are non-refundable for students who are dismissed from the program.
How to Register for our Weekend Programs
Weekend Programs are available to 2nd – 11th Grade students.
Registration to the programs takes place through the MyCTYGreece account. Under ‘Available Programs’ one can find the programs offered to each student based on their exam scores and age. There are no scholarships for these types of programs. Weekend programs are offered at specific times of the year, and registration for each one is independent.
